Student programs run concurrent with the school year. Typically, two weeks after school begins and two weeks before school ends. Youth on Fire When: Wednesdays at 6:30-8:00PM Where: Lobby of Southern Hills Church Leader: Lauri Jackson and Alex Fuhs Youth on Fire is our active youth ministry for students in 6th through 12th grades. We meet every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for a variety of activities including Bible Study, Fellowship, Outreach/Service Projects, and Worship experiences. Sunday School When: Sundays at 9:30am Where: Southern Hills Church Leader: Lisa Schultz / Jason Petersen Confirmation: Confirmation is a time of deepening faith on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. When students enter 9th grade they meet with the Pastor and their chosen mentor until Confirmation Sunday in the Spring. These meetings are intended to help students grow closer to Jesus as they wrestle with the scriptures, and learn UMC history, polity and tradition.
